chocolate kiss - is now CLOSED

this hit me so hard..

that's why i usually don't watch news or scroll for any updates because i tend to be so emotional but this one didn't fail to catch my attention and so the memories flooded my mind.

although i didnt have my first kiss here but i had my first date with my first love when i moved here in qc. he was also my first heartbreak. sad to say this place also reminds me of him but i kept on coming back for the coffee, pastries and of course, the grand piano.

a haunting tune of carpenter's "close to you", it was a lonesome sunday, an empty seat in front of me where he used to sit. but now, just a date with myself.

so this place was both magical and painful. bittersweet it is. and sad to say, it is now and forever will be a memory.

a memory bday letter for Cha Ferrer

do u still remember when we walked somewhere in molave and i asked you to have your eyes closed and then when you opened it, you were so startled/frightened seeing a statue of a little man which you may have thought as "di ingon ato"

our laughter is still ringing in my ears every time i remember it.

it was indeed scary but  i hope its more of a surprise (in a good way) as definitely life has so much of it. and i am glad you are embracing whatever your life is "surprising" you. i am not trying to be harsh here, but continue to get "startled", makuyawan ka sa tamang ginhawa as it just an indicator that life doesn't bore you, that it is full of wonder and it still amazes you.

just keep on wandering, keep on wondering.
